The Challenge

Operational and financial records were siloed across POS terminals, local inventory logs, accounting tools, and offline spreadsheets. Consolidating numbers required weeks of manual compilation, leaving executive leadership without immediate visibility into outlet-by-outlet margins, cost leakages, or true net profitability.

What Carufus Built

We engineered automated data pipelines integrated directly with Haldiram's SAP ERP system to securely pull financial postings, store sales records, material costs, and inventory movements into a centralized Microsoft Fabric data lake. We cleansed and standardized disparate menu SKU names, cost centres, tax rates, and discount schemes into a unified analytical data model, configured automated reconciliation logic to flag cost leakages and waste, and built flexible WoW/MoM/YoY comparison models. On top of this, we designed an interactive, role-based Power BI portal delivering the live P&L, letting leadership drill down from company-wide profitability to individual store-level P&L, gross margins, and item-tier performance.
