Haldiram, a leading restaurant chain, wanted to make data-driven decisions but faced significant roadblocks due to disorganized, scattered, and unstructured data across multiple departments—including sales data from POS systems, customer feedback from surveys and loyalty programs, inventory and food costing from supply chain data, wastage metrics from kitchen reporting, and financial reports from accounting software. While many companies rely on third-party BI tools like Power BI or Tableau, the client wanted full control over data storage, transformation, and visualization without vendor dependency. Key challenges included lack of centralized data storage, manual report creation that consumed hours and increased errors, inability to slice and dice data with predefined static reports, and high costs of third-party BI tools. The company needed a self-hosted, fully customized reporting solution with dynamic dashboards, real-time insights, and seamless drill-down capabilities tailored to their business needs.

Data was extracted from multiple sources and consolidated into a single data warehouse. A custom web application was created to meet the client's specific needs. The dashboard was designed with dynamic graphs and table layouts to provide comparisons, trends, and growth insights for each KPI.
